Steel Grip Non-Skid Silicone Carbide Granules
Steel Grip Non-Skid Silicon Carbide Granules are a special blend of carbide aggregate with a MOHS hardness in excess of high carbon steel. This product is to be used to create an impregnating blend, a non-skid texture, in Steel Grip's Base Coat Paint. To achieve a maximum load, the carbide granules should be spread in the range of 6-1/2 lbs. granules per gallon, up to 12 lbs. granules per gallon, with an average load of 10 lb. granules per one gallon of carbide base. Steel Grip Non-Skid Silicone Carbide Granules should be impregnated or countersunk so the ends of the carbide are the "tip of the iceberg" with 3/4 of the granules covered within the resin solution.
